Our Story

The very beginning

It all started in the 90's when Danny & Lexi were unknowingly backyard neighbors. Sadly, Lexi moved away when she was just two years old.

May 10th, 2008

But that didn't stop Danny from finding the love of his life. Fast forward to May 2008 when Danny found Lexi on Facebook & friend requested her because her music videos made her and her friends look pretty cool.

February 2011

Danny and Lexi OFFICIALLY meet at Stevenson's Turnabout senior year when they ended up in the same group together. They discovered they were both attending Indiana University for college the next year. The beginning of a beautiful friendship began.

April 2011: PROM

No they didn't go to Prom together...but they did find each other at the dance to take a Hoosier crew pic...How cute?!

AUGUST 2011:
WELCOME WEEK

After several hangouts at summer parties, the new friends officially entered college together and spent all of welcome week with each other. On the first 'Jersday' of the year, Danny & Lexi ended the night with their very first kiss

The two quickly learned that they were kindred spirits and loved getting to know each other more..

They even spent an all-nighter one night telling each other all about their lives.

As they continued to grow closer, Lexi knew Danny was something special when he was willing to dance through the arboretum and be silly with her as they sang a duet to Aladdin's

'A Whole New World'

Danny knew Lexi was something special when she remembered his favorite candy and decided to randomly surprise him with it one day after class.

2011-2015

Throughout College, Danny & Lexi remained each others very best friends. From random lunches between classes, to helping each other out with any hiccups they encountered, their time at Indiana together was an incredible 4 years.

Post-college
adventures in chicago

Bike rides, yoga classes, and a playful pact - if both were single at 40, they'd marry each other. Little did they know...

November 2018

A pivotal invitation to his sister's engagement party, followed by a soccer game where Lexi scored two goals. Impressive on and off the field!

December 2018: Galantis

A night at a Galantis concert: They danced, they sang, and they shared a kiss when the lyrics to the song

'Tell Me You Love Me'

really hit home.

They rekindled their spark

& fell in love, again.

From that night, inseparable. Whether it was adventures or simple moments, their bond grew stronger, with Michelle joining in occasionally.

April 2019:
The adoption
of Remy juniper

Welcoming Remy, their fur baby, marked the start of their family. Adopting him changed their lives forever.

June 2020: bucktown

Finally making it official and moving into their Bucktown home together. Eventually welcoming Mochi, their adorable Pomsky, into their growing family.
